Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Administrator

DESCRIPTION:

This position requires extensive experience managing and performing administration of the Adobe Experience Manager Product in either an on-premise environment or in the cloud. Responsibilities include maintenance of the Content Management System templates, utilized by customers for content input and maintenance. You will administer components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture. You will need a solid knowledge of Jenkins continuous integration, along with experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Java, web APIs, and Python. You will be working with our client to develop cloud based external analytics systems. You will be diagnosing and solving technical problems related to content management such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, formatting, image scaling, internationalization, and personalization. As a part of a team you will work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment, and be required to translate business requirements into AEM specific specifications.

You will work with other software engineers to investigate problems for both AEM and Dispatcher on Apache web server, develop monitoring and performance metrics for AEM platform, automate deployment and management of AEM services and contribute to the evolving architecture of our services to meet changing requirements for scaling, reliability, performance, manageability, and price. You are responsible for documenting designs and developing procedures for building and managing the AEM environment. Participate in on-call production support rotation. Adobe Experience Manager system administration and configuration.

With extensive knowledge of software and more specifically the effective administration of Content Management Systems, the ideal candidate, will have demonstrated excellent time management skills, a strong understanding of CMS and an affinity for useability. In this position the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the design of high performance applications and providing support of a site visited over 4 billion times per year. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end systems interface knowledge, is important.

A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a senior Enterprise Architect role in DoD and/or Navy software systems environments performing BMC Remedy ITSM service integration, service brokering and real-time data quality monitoring including designing and onboarding external interfaces and integrations with disperse technologies, mapping and modeling data, and performing conversion and normalization.

This position is responsible for supporting a client Program Office with the Section 508 assessment of web pages, web assets, and documents; including independent validation and verification of web pages, web assets, and documents previously 508 compliance certified. In addition, support includes the creation and maintenance of 508 developer standards, 508 training for compliance, 508 tool implementation, and the review of procurement requests for 508 compliance. Engage with internal and external customers on Section 508 compliance matters. This will be accomplished through training, coaching, and hosting regular office hours on a weekly basis whereby customers can request advice.

Represent the Section 508 Program team as an active presence on relevant boards, councils, steering committees, industry, affinity groups, etc. as required, including the Section 508 Coordination.
